These orientations every other month are open to everyone, will introduce Kaneko Shiatsu Anma, briefly go over what will be covered in our upcoming classes, and give you a chance to experience a demonstration. Other modalities such as Qigong & Daoyin, meditation & breathwork may also be introduced.

Introductory Class: Tao of Shiatsu
This hybrid introductory four-hour class which is a stepping stone to the Foundation class, will provide you an insight to the incredible healing art developed by Grandmaster Dr. DoAnn Tsuneo Kaneko. As you participate in this class, you will learn about the way of shiatsu anma, its traditional Chinese medicine roots, its development in Japan, its stand alone therapeutic value and its complement to western medicine. Our hands-on approach will give you an introduction through actively participating in learning: anma manual therapy, shiatsu pressure techniques and therapeutic stretches. This class is highly recommended for those who are new to shiatsu, before going into our Foundation class.

Foundation Class: Shiatsu Anma Therapy Essentials
This hybrid Foundation class is the next step in your shiatsu-anma therapy learning journey and will offer 24hr CEU’s and will cover Shiatsu Anma Theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine and practical application. The class will cover the Head, Neck & Shoulders, Back & Hip area, Abdominal area, Upper Extremities, Lower Extremities, and then will be put together in the proper sequence for the Long Form, 1-hour sequence. Advanced Classes
These Advanced classes are a continuation of the Foundation classes to master the art Shiatsu Anma Therapy. They will cover Dr. Kaneko’s DoAnn Long Form of Anma Short Form of Shiatsu and is a way to balance energy blockages. You will learn various techniques and methods for different areas of the body following a structured sequence that utilizes major pressure points and meridians, all within 4 different postures. As each area is covered, fundamental principles and techniques from prior days will be introduced. These are only a couple of our Advanced Classes.
