This introductory hybrid four-hour class called Tao of Shiatsu will provide you an insight to the incredible healing art developed by Grandmaster Dr. DoAnn Tsuneo Kaneko. As you participate in this class, you will learn about the way of shiatsu anma, its traditional Chinese medicine roots, its development in Japan, its stand alone therapeutic value and its complement to western medicine. Our hands-on approach will give you an introduction through actively participating in learning: anma manual therapy, shiatsu pressure techniques and therapeutic stretches. This class is highly recommended for those who are new to shiatsu, before going into our Foundation class.
